Kennedy is looking for a new home!

Adopted horse Kennedy is looking for a new home under our rehoming policy. He's spent the last two years at Camp Carol Joy Holling but is just a bit much on the ground for their beginner kids and less experienced handlers. Our rehoming policy allows him to be adopted forward under our contract while the current adopter gets to keep the adoption fee.

Kennedy (the camp calls him Dean) is a very sweet boy that we adopted for our summer camp. He is up for rehoming as we believe he would be better with one family rather than the fast-paced environment we have here. Once he gets to know you, he is very trusting and sweet and wants to have a relationship with people. He is AMAZING riding in the arena! Has some fancy buttons and a very comfortable gate. Can ride in anything from a correctional bit to a hackamore! Out on trail, he is good in a group but tends to be a bit buddy soar when going out away from other horses. He lunges, saddles, and takes a bit wonderfully!

The last few months we have been having some issues with getting his feet done by the farrier. He did not have any issues last year or all winter, but with all the changes our camp went through this year he has gotten nervous. I believe with some patience and someone he trusts he will go back to getting his hooves done with no issues. He also does not like be tied up in smaller places, possibly due to his something in his past we are not sure but when tied in a bigger area or on a trailer he is just fine. We want to see Kennedy(Dean) go somewhere where he can be loved and with a consistent handler that he can trust.

He is up to date on vaccinations, dewormer, stealth cleaning, and had his teeth done in spring.
