NAME REVEAL: Meet BINKS
Binks appears to be a 5-yr-old red dun gelding who has a significant puncture wound on his neck and is underweight. While we don't know exactly what caused it, the vet said it looked more like a reaction to a shot, like maybe giving banamine in the muscle. It had been shaved and treated, and he has a small piece of his tail cut off, so we think he was likely loved by someone who had no say in him being sent to auction.
For now, his job is easy: eat, rest, and settle in. They’ll spend the next 20–30 days in quarantine while we give them time to decompress, so you won’t see much in the way of training or evaluation yet. If anything pops up health-wise, we’ll extend that time to make sure they’re feeling their best before moving forward.
