Memorial Day weekend has traditionally been our annual Spring Clean Up or Project Day. And it still is, though it looks like we haven't mentioned it hardly at all.

 

 So - if you are looking for a rewarding project this weekend, stop out anytime between 11:00 am - 5:00 pm on any day! Drop us a message or email if you are coming so we can plan ahead.

 

It's WAY too wet (thank you for the rain!) to do any dirt work, so we are going to focus on some tear out and pen building!

 

Here are a few projects that are on our agenda for the weekend:

 

1) Set up at least one new medical/QT pen in the new area

2) Tear out old fence and chop down small trees near the future medical/rehab barn

3) Pressure wash the concrete in that area in preparation for the chute

4) Tear out portion of the current QT pen to open up the pasture gate and alley; rebuild east line of pen with panels.

5) Cutting down small trees in ditch and general pasture cleanup (stones, wood, any trash)

6) General fence repair as needed

7) Clean out new blanket barn and start setting up shelves and moving blankets over

Tack cleaning and inventorying - both tack we use and sale tack

... and so much more!

 

We'll be keeping it casual and having fun while doing projects, but would love to have you out! There's a potential for rain so we'll take lots of grooming breaks.
