Ruth is a beautiful mare who came to us through auction thin and in need of a fresh start. With good nutrition and care, she has truly blossomed and is now maintaining a healthy weight while enjoying regular attention and handling.
She has good ground manners and is easy to work with. Ruth leads respectfully, ties well, loads into a trailer without fuss, and stands quietly for saddling. She has also been comfortable carrying weight in the saddle, and our instinct is that she likely has previous riding experience.
Ruth has done well for her recent farrier visits and continues to build strength and condition. We believe she is likely in her mid-to-upper teens and would do best in a home that appreciates a steady, mature mare and enjoys bringing her along thoughtfully.
