Volunteers Wanted!

As we gear up for the 2025 Dakota Showdown, we’re looking to fill a couple key volunteer roles to help make the event a success — and you won’t be doing it alone! You’ll work directly with me, and I’ll provide everything you need, from resources to guidance and support.
Concessions Coordinator – Help plan, organize, and run concessions during the event. This includes setting the menu, coordinating supplies, and organizing volunteer shifts. If you love being organized and creating a great experience for attendees, this one’s for you!
 
Gift Card Outreach Team – We’re looking for at least 3 volunteers to reach out to restaurants, attractions, and stores for gift card donations. These cards will be used for prizes, giveaways, and a super fun gift card draw wall to help raise funds during the event!
 
Ideally, we’d love one person each to focus on:
Yankton
Sioux Falls
Rapid City
 
But feel free to connect with any businesses in other communities, too — every donation helps!
 
I’ll be here every step of the way, so don’t worry if you’re new to this — you’ll have plenty of support.
