Today, our Executive Director, Tiffany Ring, presented at the Homes for Horses Coalition conference in Colorado, sharing No Wrong Answers: Navigating Ethical Tension in Equine Rescue.
After 15 years of rescue work, we've learned that some of the hardest decisions we face don't come with clear right or wrong answers. They come with competing values, limited resources, incomplete information, and people who genuinely care but may see things differently.
That was the heart of today's conversation, and we couldn't have asked for a better audience!
The room was engaged, thoughtful, willing to participate, and even willing to have a little fun while exploring some pretty serious topics. The discussion and participation made this first speaking experience especially memorable.
