501(c)3 Determination Letter

GSH was granted 501(c)3 status on August 7, 2014, with an effective date retroactive to May 15, 2013. Because the effective date was applied retroactively, our determination letter includes an Addendum. 501(c)3 non-profits can have their status automatically revoked if they fail to file taxes for 3 years. When the determination is retroactive, the Addendum automatically reinstates the non-profit in case it is automatically revoked. A non-profit for whom the Addendum applies, such as GSH, are given 501(c)3 status, have it revoked, and reinstated all within the same determination letter. GSH is a 501(c)3 organization in good standing and has been at all times since its determination.
