George is an amazing hugger and GSH's official SpokesDonkey! This big white donkey will be the first one at the fence demanding peppermints and kisses. He loves grooming and being around children.
George came to Gentle Spirit Horses with a old broken hip that had healed incorrectly. George does have some arthritis in his hip and gets a daily supplement called Buteless that helps with the soreness. George has had trouble getting up when he lays down on his bad hip and sometimes needs help getting up. To help alarm us of any issues with George, George "adopted" Yogi, his donkey friend. Yogi sounds the alarm anytime that George is in trouble. George and Yogi stay on as permanent residents of GSH and hopefully will demand peppermints for years to come.
