Cinna is home from the vet!

Cinna came in sound, but with a large leg and a scab. X-rays showed that the bone and joints are fine, and that basically it appears to be mostly scar tissue from the wound trying to heal, but likely not with any veterinary care. Ultimately the scar tissue built up to the point that the wound stopped trying to heal. Nebraska Equine Veterinary Clinic was able to go in and remove a bunch of scar tissue and bring the skin back together, which should allow it to heal finally.

Cinna will be on stall rest for quite some time, but we're hopeful he'll be ready to participate in the Dakota Showdown Horse Trainer Challenge this summer and find a home. He's a big Appendix QH who has a bright future in front of him!

For some reason, we've struggled to raise the funds for his surgery - even though we did pay for it today. Can you help us cover that check? Donate here: https://givebutter.com/cinnasurgery
