From a tough beginning to a beautiful new chapter, Ruth is officially ready to continue her story with you!

Ruth originally came to us through an auction, thin and looking for a fresh start. Thanks to consistent nutrition and a lot of love, she has absolutely blossomed. She has filled out to a healthy weight and shows us every day just how much she genuinely loves being around people.

 

If you are looking for a horse with a steady, mellow nature, Ruth is an absolute gem. On the ground, she has fantastic manners—she leads respectfully, ties well, and loads into a trailer without any fuss. She also stands beautifully and quietly for saddling.

 

Under saddle, she is as mellow as they come and has been safe for every rider who has hopped on her! Because she is still building up her muscle, balance, and topline, she can sometimes do a little protest kick or minor buck when asked to transition into a trot or canter. We are riding her regularly for a refresher to help her condition, and she is taking it all in stride.

 

We are estimating her age to be anywhere from her upper teens to lower twenties, but her heart is entirely focused on the future. She is looking for a forever family who will appreciate her steady soul, continue her thoughtful conditioning, and love her just as she is.
