Happy Birthday to the Horses!

Did you know that traditionally race horses and show horses are "aged up" on January 1? Most horse people have adopted this and now celebrate their horse's birthday on January 1 - and so do we! That means tomorrow the horse above, Nelly and her mule friend Buddy both turn 35! We have seven equines over 30 - Kiwi, Shanno, Nelly, Buddy, Dex, Chip and donkey George, along with an additional five horses over 25 (Paisley, Princess Di, Sully, Sonny, and Jazz) to form our "Super Senior" group.

 

Nine more horses join the Senior group and are between 20-24 ... Monroe, Phoebe, Charlie, Turbo, Beau, Sterling, Honey, Pepper and Plucky. Many of them are looking for Pasture Pal homes and would love to be your friends!

With so many older horses, we go through anywhere from 50-60 bags of senior feed every month, at about $30 a bag. For 2024 we'd love to have your support in keeping them fed. We are looking for 50 people to commit to $30 every month to buy a bag of feed. So far we have 2 bags covered! Are you in?
