Earlier this week we shared a video of the first Showdown horse to leave for the 2026 Dakota Showdown Horse Trainer Challenge , but here's their official introduction.
Meet 5-yr-old QH mare Dove and her Showdown trainer Arryanna Schnetzer of Springfield, SD. Arryanna is a talented local rider who is involved with 4-H, FFA horse judging, and SDEA and is excited to work with Dove and help her find a home. Dove, who can sometimes be a little aloof and hard to catch, immediately liked her and wouldn't leave her side, so we are really excited to see what they accomplish together this summer.

Over the next four months, Lucy and Randy will train together as part of the Dakota Showdown Horse Trainer Challenge. Lucy will be available for adoption at the Finale on August 23, 2026 in Lennox, SD.
