Meet London – one of our September Auction Saves!

 London is a big, handsome Palomino gelding in his 20s who is already winning hearts here at the rescue. He’s friendly, easy to be around, and just needs a little support to get back to his best self.

 

When we picked him up at auction, we were told his former owner said he’d been a good ranch horse but was starting to get stiff in the winters, so it was “time to go.” At Gentle Spirit Horses, we don’t believe that’s where his story ends.

 

London is a little underweight, but we’re excited to see how he does once he finishes quarantine. With some senior feed, a dental float, and the help of a joint supplement (maybe even a little Buteless as needed), we’re hopeful he’ll go on to enjoy a second career as a light riding partner.
