# Team Luke June 23, 2026 - Update!

 5 July 2026

[Dakota Showdown](https://www.gentlespirithorses.org/blog/tag/dakota-showdown)

From Trainer Aspen Lyons :

Today Luke got more desensitization!

Today me and Luke played around with a tarp. While he was a little uncertain with it at first, after he realized it wasn’t going to hurt him he toned down quite a bit. While he will still need a little more desensitization to it soon he did really good today! Don’t forget about the main care as always, gotta keep him looking sharp ![](https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/emoji.php/v9/tf4/1/16/2728.png)

As always if you are interested in Luke please follow along as he is learning more and more cool tricks! He will be up for adoption at his big show on August 23 - 24 in Lennox!
