Simon comes to us from a local barn where they hoped he could be a lesson horse, but he has a hitch in his hind that needs attention. Because they need a lesson horse who can hold up to several lessons a week, including jumping, they felt it was in his best interest to find a different home. Worried that he would end up in a bad place if sent back to auction, they asked us to take him in. Of course we said yes!
He did not come with an intake donation, so we'll need to raise funds for his vet examination and then whatever treatment he needs. We are hopeful it's just a soft tissue injury that will resolve, but obviously will explore all potential issues.

We are hopeful that he can return to soundness and make someone a great trail horse. He's just a teenager and super friendly, so we have high hopes for him!
