We wanted to share a quick update on Whitney as we prepare for her upcoming visit to the University of Minnesota on January 4 for advanced evaluation of her aggressive sarcoid on her jaw.
Thanks to early support, we’ve raised $350 toward her $5,000 medical goal. It’s a solid start — and we still have a ways to go before her CT scan and specialist evaluation.
This visit will give us the answers we need to determine Whitney’s next steps and make the most compassionate, informed decision for her future. The CT scan will show us how extensive the sarcoid is and whether treatment options like surgery are possible.
